Construction firm Precise Construction celebrated the ribbon-cutting of the new Coastal Cancer Radiation Oncology Center on Nov. 21 in Myrtle Beach. Designed by Grace Design Studios, the 14,870-square-foot facility includes three radiation therapy vaults, a CT-SIM suite, exam rooms, offices, and essential support spaces. The facility aims to accommodate the Grand Strand’s growth and reduce travel burdens for patients.
Dr. Emily Touloukian, President and CEO of Coastal Cancer Center, said, “A cancer diagnosis is a very stressful time in someone’s life. If we can alleviate some of that stress by allowing patients to be treated close to home, surrounded by their friends, family, and community, it’s an absolute win.”
“We are honored by the trust Coastal Cancer Center placed in our team to build this facility,” Precise Construction President Scott Johnson said. “We look forward to seeing this new building serve the Myrtle Beach community for many years ahead.”
